Fun!
Stephanie’s wedding is one I have been waiting ages to blog as I rounded up the end of last year. Everything about this wedding was classic awesome. Giant cathedral, escarpment view reception. St Pat’s cathedral and Picnic Point Function Centre.
Her dress was magnificent – it had feathers. Feathers! John wore a classic suit and bow tie and even though I only met him on the day of the wedding, he was great to work with, both enjoying his wedding and bride (as he should) and having fun with us.
My good partner in crime Leigh was there as well handling the video side of things while I took care of the stills I met Stephanie a year and a half before the wedding and the care and planning was meticulous. She knows what she wanted, and thankfully that included us.
The most awesome thing happened at this wedding – Stephanie’s sister and maid of honour SANG her hilarious speech.
It blew everyone’s mind.
Awesome, awesome wedding.
The power of a handwritten note
—————————————————–
A note (and a few bottles of wine) found its way to me from Steph and John a week or so after the wedding and I still have it (and re-read it) today. Emails come and go, Facebook likes disappear as soon as you scroll but handwritten notes are very powerful in this day and age.
I loved receiving this (and the drinks that went with it :))
When was the last time you wrote a handwritten note to someone? :)
Thanks guys!
Kris
