We thought it was going to be cold. Goondiwindi in the middle of winter. And maybe raining. Possibly misty, snowing, with howling winds. Instead it was sunny, warm and beautiful.
Bec wanted a country wedding, and their friend’s property was perfect for our photoshoot after a beautiful ceremony at the Anglican church.
She decorated the reception venue herself, with beautiful lighting to to create the ambience.
I love Goondi, it’s a young town (as in young people) that reminds me of remote ski towns for some reason. Even though I love shooting in the city, there’s something about country towns where you know there is only one wedding within a hundred miles.
And they party hard!

I remember my wedding. This reminds me of such walking down the aisle while everyone is looking at you and thinking that I am the luckiest person on Earth.
