Too many blogs!

When Anna and I first started this business back in 2003, we were a husband and wife team working out of a commercial studio right next door to Grand Central.
Since then, a lot of growth has occurred, particularly in our wedding and commercial departments. (We didn't even have departments back in 2003!!)
In 2005 we had our first international commercial job, and in 2006 we had our first international wedding.
Late 2006 also saw us move to a new premises and our team grow to four.
2008 is nearly over and it has seen our team grow yet again with the sum being three photography teams, photographic assistants, digital artists and the launch of our wedding and commercial video department!
We really need to complete the relaunching of our website hahahahaha

What's the point of this blog post? Well it's a big elaborate setup to let you know that we are starting a new blog :)
With more than two or three people blogging, the front page of our website starts to look a little messy! So from later this week, there will be only one blog written by the entire team here at Annielyn Images.
This will mean, one place to see what we are up to and more blog posts, so you can see more pictures!
The old blogs will still be up if you want to see specific posts. We'll let you know when it all starts :)

Wedding of Craig and Amy

Craig and Amy (riends of Tim and Bethel whom we photographed earlier in the year) were married at the Oxley Uniting Church in Brisbane two days ago (5 July 2008). Their reception was at Woodlands in Marburg.

Whilst it rained for most of the day, and Amy's transport to the church was a little (45 mins) late due to some uncontrollable circumstances, everything else went perfectly to plan :)

It was an excellent day and we really had a lot of fun.

Some fashion work

Lately I've been photographing some fashion work for various hair salons around the Darling Downs for a competition (the name escapes me at the moment, but I'll edit this post once I know)
It's been geat fun and inspiring to see the various styles that have come from these salons. Hair dressing is one of the areas that really push the boundaries, and it's been great to see the fact that location is not a limiting factor ie the styles I've seen are world class.

Wedding of Sharyn and Michael

Sharyn and Mick were married in Crow's Nest at St Luke's church on the 5th of April.
I'd met Sharyn many times before the wedding (she would always catch up with us at wedding expos and similar events) but prior to the day I hadn't met Mick.
Still he was a natural in front of the camera, and his family was one of the most friendly I've met (that's a big call considering how close we've become with some of the families we meet :))
Sharyn was absolutely gorgeous on the day (she always is) and a little known (to me) park in Crow's Nest became the backdrop to some awesome photos.
And after all that we discovered on the day our ten pin bowling connection! (Sharyn's sister/bridesmaid's partner and I competed back in the day. We were in the same league, but I never scored close to him hahahahaha)

Craig and Rebecca Wedding

Craig and Rebecca were married on the 26th of April this year in Roma at the Mt Abundance property. Sheryleigh, Kelly and I went out there to photograph their wedding and reception and as usual in Craig and Rebecca's company, had an awesome time. Previously Anna and I had been out there to photograph them for their engagement and created a guest signing book from the pictures taken on their farm. I'll put the book up soon. Congrats Rebecca and Craig, can't wait to show you the rest of the pics!
