I’ve been waiting for Loren to marry Matt forever.
Our little business is such that we become friends with many (all?) of our couples, and I’ve been friends with these guys since I photographed Loren as a hair model 5 years ago.
Matt has worked on our studio, and Loren’s parents and mine live basically around the corner from each other.
So I am totally stoked that I was given the opportunity to photograph their wedding.
Both Loren and Matt are (approximately) one thousand Dan black belts in Zen Do Kai Karate (as was half the bridal party and guests) It was awesome seeing the demonstration out on the lawn before the ceremony. And it was awesome seeing how much these two meant to their guests and how much each guest meant to them.
I can’t wait to show you their album design – that will be another post
Matt and Loren chose Gabbinbar in Toowoomba to host their big day, and despite a slight amount of rain, it was perfect. Gabbinbar is awesome, and the staff there are PROFESSIONAL. The ceremony location was moved indoors within minutes like that had been the plan all along. Luckily the rain stopped enough for us to get outside a little too
